Follow up on Kennedy threat
In my last post, I informed the readers of this website of the threat, made on Linda Kennedy's life during her broadcast of last week.

In order for the reader to be able to understand the subject, I provided background on the subject matter that Kennedy has been addressing, and was addressing at the time of the threat.

One of the individuals involved in this situation — namely Dave VonKleist — has apparently sent a message to a list of people accusing Jackie Patru, Linda Kennedy, Chris Gerner, Peter Kawaja, and yours truly of engaging in slander against Joyce.

Here is the message, as posted to Linda Kennedy's website:
After years of remaining silent and "taking the arrows" from individuals that have slandered and libeled her so not to give those people attention, she has now requested those who have known us for years to respond to those who have continued to mount these unfounded attacks. There has never been any verifiable evidence to support these allegations and those who have accused her both on the internet and on the air have never offered her the opportunity to defend herself.

The so called "journalists" that broadcast these empty charges and posted defamitory information and links to other websites are engaging in the worst kind of "yellow journalism" and have formed what amounts to be a "lynch mob" to destroy her credibility and her business. Most importantly, those veterans that need her FREE information and FREE products are being turned away from her by the lies that are being generated by these "truth seekers".

Innocent people are now being harmed and it is for that reason that we ask you all to get involved in pointing out the fact that these individuals are participating in all the kind of activities that they condemn on their radio programs and websites. They are guilty of many of the things they accuse her of.

Again, if there is VERIFIABLE evidence to support the charges, let it be presented! If not, then these attacks should be recognized as the slander that it is!

Jackie Patru, www.sweetliberty.org
Peter Kawaja, www.agwva.org
Darren Weeks, www.darrenweeks.net
Chris Gerner, www.amerikanexpose.com,

And, of course, LINDA KENNEDY www.wbflegalreform.com
All of the above are directly involved in perpitrating [sic] the crimes of slander, libel and defamation against an innocent person who has done nothing to but try to help veterans.

Joyce has NEVER used her platform to attack anybody and we pray for those involved to see how they have been misled.

"Divide and Conquer"? Who is creating the division? Where is the evidence?
Please help us stop the unfounded attacks.
Thanks- Dave

Joyce Riley vonKleist and Dave vonKleist

Let me make one thing perfectly clear. I have never slandered anyone.

In my post of June 27th, I repeatedly stated that the allegations made about Joyce Riley, were that of Linda Kennedy. I've referred the reader to her website for assistance in deciding what the truth is, regarding the Joyce and Dave controversy.

However, based upon my readership of Linda's information — along with her reluctance to even name Joyce and Dave as the individuals of which she spoke, in the beginning — I find her account very believable. Also, the silence of the Riley camp in addressing the specific issues, and other questions Linda raises is both intriguing, and tends to lend credibility, in my mind, to the accusations that were made by Kennedy.

I will state, however, that I have an open mind. I am very willing to reconsider the opinions that I have formed, based upon Linda's writings. Should Dave and Joyce address the questions that have been posed by Linda, and should such statements be compelling, then I'd be happy to put this issue to rest.

Those who genuinely work to maintain freedom, cannot afford to divert time away from their work to deal with in-fighting. If the information that Linda Kennedy has posted on her website is wrong, libelous, slanderous, etc., then I respectfully, and in good faith, ask for Joyce and Dave to please address the questions that have been raised. I know that I would like to put this issue to bed for good.

As far as the death threat is concerned, my research suggests the likelihood that the clip that was played on the Precious Time broadcast with Linda Kennedy, was a clip from a movie.

In the movie, the character known as "King Arthur" apparently states: "Mark my face, for the next time you see it, it will be the last thing you see on this Earth."

For the purposes of making a threat, the word "see" can easily be misunderstood as "say". This is evident as Linda immediately understood the statement to be a death threat. Others listening, such as the board operator at the network, also understood it as such and stated thus on the air. Additionally, the English-sounding accent with which the statement was spoken, also made the word "see" sound more like "say".

Regardless, if Linda is engaging in slanderous activity, why aren't the questions answered so the issue can be put to rest? I know that if someone makes statements about me that are untrue, I tend to want to set the record straight.

Also, why has a threat been made on Linda's life? Why — instead of addressing the issues that Kennedy has raised — was air time purchased on WWCR by the Riley camp, effectively censoring Jackie Patru from criticizing Joyce or Dave — "even if (the criticism is) true"?

These are questions which trouble this observer. I'd welcome the answers, rather than the demonization of those asking them.

Linda Kennedy receives on air death threat
Former attorney and legal researcher Linda Kennedy is the host of a radio broadcast on the First Amendment Radio Network.

For several months now, she has been asking some pointed questions about Joyce Riley.

Riley, who has her own broadcast on the Genesis network, has portrayed herself as the lone voice, speaking out in favor of the veterans who became ill from serving in the first Gulf war.

The following version of events were told by Linda Kennedy.

According to Linda — who said that, at the time, she believed in the mission of Riley — was asked by Joyce to assist her with her business ventures. Kennedy stated that she agreed to stay with Joyce and her husband Dave to help them with their problems for a period of time.

To make a long story short, according to Kennedy, things began to sour when she refused to be manipulated by Riley. The scene is said to have turned very ugly, and Linda attempted to leave but Joyce and Dave allegedly attempted to trap her on their property.

Kennedy stated that she had brought a number of items — including furniture and computers — to aid Joyce and Dave in their business. The understanding was that the items would be returned. Linda stated that she was forced to leave them behind because she had recently had back surgery and could not load the heavy items.

The whole ugly account of what Linda stated she experienced while she was staying with Joyce and Dave is a story could rival a movie script for its intrigue.

After she returned home, Kennedy alledges that Riley had left messages on her answering machine, purportedly looking for her. Kennedy states that the messages were left at the time she was on Riley's property, and that Riley knew exactly where she was and how to reach her.

Following her decision to begin exposing Joyce and Dave, Kennedy says she began to fear for her life. She recorded a series of interviews with Jackie Patru in case something happened to her. Though the series was meant to be aired only if Linda disappeared from the scene, Jackie finally convinced Linda to allow her to air the series. The tapes aired on Sweet Liberty from April 19th - April 29th. Archives are available in the audio section of the Sweet Liberty site.

After spending a couple of weeks airing the expose' — then following up the series with interviews that continued to deal with the plight of the Gulf War vets and the Joyce and Dave situation — Jackie received a fax on May 11th from the shortwave station which airs her broadcast. They notified Jackie that Joyce Riley had purchased air time on the station and Jackie could no longer criticize Joyce or her show would be cancelled by the station. The station, WWCR, has a policy that none of their broadcasters are allowed to criticize their other broadcasters — even if the criticism is true.

Since Linda's broadcast isn't aired on WWCR, Linda was not subject to the censorship. She continued to air her evidence on her own broadcast, on First Amendment Radio.

The following is a clip of the June 26th broadcast in which a caller plays what sounds like a pre-recorded message of a man with an English accent saying that if she continues to say what she is saying, it will be the last thing that she says on this earth.

Click on the button below, then wait for the clip to download. It shouldn't take very long.

If you would like to hear the full broadcast, you can get it on the bulletin page now posted at sweetliberty.org.

On more note, I spoke tonight with a friend of mine who pointed out to me that there are websites in which a person can obtain audio sound clips of actors, actresses and other public figures for the purpose of making prank telephone calls.

One such website is Ebaum's World. Could this be where the caller received the apparent clip that was played on Linda's site?

Engaging the pew sitters
By Darren Weeks

I have a web site that I started in the late 90s, called Doubters Dot Net. It was my first real web project.

When I started it, my goal was to prove everything that I'd always believed about God, the Bible, and the Christian life. I believed that too many Christians don't ask questions about the origins of their beliefs. I believed, as I still do, that God didn't give me a brain if He didn't expect me to use it.

Proving that God exists isn't difficult in my mind. All one has to do is look around. Evidence of the divine One is everywhere.

Contrarily, I had great difficulty proving the authenticity of the Bible. Even Christian apologists admit that it was copied repeatedly by Jews throughout history. Since they didn't have any other way of preserving the text, they were reduced to utilizing parchment. However, just as paper does not last forever, parchment also degrades over time. Hence, the copying of the text from one manuscript to create a new manuscript.

It is sobering to consider the possibility that, at any point during the copying process, words could have been changed or whole books added or subtracted.

This might not be such an important topic to consider, were it not for the fact that Christians today point to the prophesies of old as a reason why we shouldn't be involved in the governmental process. They say that since the evil that is happening today was forecast in the Bible, we cannot stop it. It's going to happen, anyway. So why try? We should instead look for Christ's return to rescue us.

I have a problem with that.

First, if God is absolutely good, as I believe Him to be, then how could evil ever be a part of His great plan?

Second, since Christians read the Biblical prophecies of globalism and war in the Bible and hence refuse to act, it becomes somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophesy. Because when the good people do nothing, the wicked prosper.

There are enough Christian people in the U.S.A., that if we'd all stand up against the evil in this world, we could throw the globalists for a million loops. At the very least, we could set them back a hundred years.

Yet, the Christians have been silenced by ignorance, and by their belief in Bible prophecy. They believe that "serving God" equates with attending church one to three times a week. For the enthusiastic ones, mowing the church lawn or vacuuming between the pews is their contribution to "changing the world" for Christ.

No one ever writes letters to the editor of a newspaper. No one ever writes a letter or makes a call to a senator, representative, governor, etc. No one ever attends a city council meeting, etc. No one ever even makes an attempt at finding out why it is that 30 or 40 years ago, a family could live on one income; now it requires two.

Please understand that my attempt is not to attack the Bible. I believe that the Bible is very valuable and contains a lot of wisdom.

In fact, the Bible, itself, says in Matthew 24:24 that false prophets and teachers would arise and show signs and wonders and that even the very elect would be deceived. Looking around at the present condition of the church, it's failure to be the "salt and light" of God in this world, it isn't hard for me to see how this will happen. They follow television preachers, who tickle their ears and prey upon their willing emotions. Accepting that these are "anointed" men of God, they will believe nearly any exegesis, given in an emotionally-delivered homily. Easily deceived? Yes, when you don't think enough to ask questions.

And the fact remains that to use the Bible as a reason to shirk your duties on earth is unacceptable. It amounts to being — as the old saying goes — "so heavenly minded, that you're no earthly good". And given the mandate of Christ to "preach the gospel" to every creature (Mark 16:15), I don't think Jesus would be too happy with that.

The gospel is more than a religious message. The gospel is, very simply, the truth.

And there is a lot of truth that is being buried because Christians refuse to dig for it. Ultimately, if they don't repent, they will pay for their inaction. Because the satanic system that is being thrust upon them will someday inhibit their genuine worship of the Creator.

So, to the churches — both preachers and pew sitters alike — who refuse to be involved in the things of this world, I say, "Repent!" Get your hands dirty for the Lord, so your hearts can be clean.

Tragedy on the highway
Early Thursday morning, I may have cheated death.

I was driving home from a late night shift, when I noticed that the semi truck in front of me abruptly slowed.

I saw a man in the middle of the street waving me down. Then I saw a car, mangled beyond recognition, in the center of the highway. Beyond that car, there were two more. One was smashed up on the front end with steam shooting out into the air. The third, about 20 feet away from that one, had come to rest upside down.

Having no place else to go — the highway was completely blocked by debris — the semi truck pulled off onto the shoulder and I followed.

My first concern was that the wrecked car that was beside me, might explode. I looked around at the ground for any sign of a gasoline leak. Seeing none, I relaxed a bit, and decided to see if I could be of assistance.

I got out of my truck and heard the sound of a dual horn blaring. It was coming from the overturned car. A man was running around in panicked frenzy. I learned that he had been in the second car.

The man who had occupied the overturned car was leaning against the semi truck in front of me. His head and shoulders were covered with red, as the blood poured forth. I noticed that his belt was undone. I figured that that had been necessary to facilitate his exit from his demolished automobile. Though he was alive and standing, he didn't appear to be in good shape.

A truck driver pulled up behind my pickup truck. The driver approached and we began to talk. He had been headed for Toledo, but the understanding set in that he would be late for his deadline. At some point, someone else approached and the three of us were talking.

I learned from witnesses that the first car that I had passed had been going the wrong way on the highway and had smashed into the 18-wheeler that was ahead of the one in front of me.

As we spoke, my attention went to the car that initiated the accident. No one had approached that car, since my arrival. I asked the trucker who was on my left if anyone was inside. He replied that he thought that someone had exited the vehicle. I told him that I didn't think anyone had.

The man on my right asked if anyone had a flashlight. I always carry a flashlight on my belt for use at work. I pulled it out and the three of us proceeded to approach the badly mangled vehicle.

I shined the light into the car and we discovered that the driver was, indeed, still inside. His body had been shoved from the front seat almost into the back by the force of the impact. I saw his face. His mouth was open; his eyes appeared to be shut. The trucker on my left called out, "Hey, buddy, are you all right in there?"

There was no response.

Then, I took a few steps to my right to get a better look. Though I had somewhat prepared myself for a gory scene, no one can ever be prepared to see what I saw. I shined the light up at the man's head again. It was then that I noticed that there was a huge part of the man's head that was missing. The guy on my right gasped and uttered an expletive of shock. I turned the light away. But hardly being able to believe what I had seen, I raised the light back to the guy's head for a second look. Again, the terrible reality. "He's gone", I said simply.

I took out my cell phone. The authorities had already been notified, I had been told. But I called the newsroom at work to have them send a photographer out and get the video of the scene for the morning show. I could hardly concentrate on which buttons to push to make the call. Somehow, I managed.

I learned later from the news that the man had been a restaurant owner.

When the police and fire departments finally arrived, I sat and watched as they searched the wreckage and the nearby fields for additional debris for their investigation.

As I sat with the windows down, swatting at mosquitos and letting the rain soak my head and arms, the realization hit me.

I had been seconds away from the crash, when it happened. I arrived a moment later.

As I had prepared to leave work earlier, a co-worker of mine had arrived. I had stood in the parking lot for just a few minutes talking to her. It wasn't very long of a delay, but it had been sufficient enough to prevent me from being right in the center of the crash as it happened. Had I not been delayed for those few short minutes, I might well have suffered a drastically different fate.

I watched as numerous police officers and fire officials set up cones, fired up their generators, got a body bag for the deceased man, and the ambulance prepared to take away the injured.

And I wondered for what purpose had I been spared the sting of death this night; for surely the hand of the Almighty was upon me.

The Reagan lie
The current love-fest that the media, the phony conservatives, and the government itself are having with the now-deceased 40th president of the United States is somewhat sickening, however unsurprising.

The extent to which they seek to honor Ronald Wilson Reagan extends to incredible proportions. I even heard on the news that there is some consideration being given to the idea that Reagan's face should be added to the ten dollar bill, or even Mt. Rushmore!

Why all of the hype?

The common belief being fed to Americans is that Reagan defeated Communism. It is widely accepted by the American people that with the end of the so-called "Cold War", Communism also ceased to be a threat, as did the Soviet Union.

However, an examination of the facts leads us to exactly the opposite conclusion.

First of all, Reagan was a great communicator. His humor had a distinct way of disarming many of his critics. His poetic speeches, along with the soothing voice utilized to deliver them, had a somewhat hypnotic effect on his audiences. Add just the correct amount of humor, as Reagan often did, and you have all of the ingredients for a very popular president.

And popular was Ronald Reagan. He is widely considered to be an effective president by both friend and foe.

But did Reagan defeat Communism? Is the "former" Soviet Union rid of Communism?

Richard Pipes, writing in the May/June 2004 edition of Foreign Affairs — the flagship publication for the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) , a group of Shadow Government insiders — says no.
"When the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991, expectations were high that Russia, rid of communism, would take a firm pro-Western course: democratizing its political system, granting its citizens unassailable civil rights, and rejoining the international community. Such were the promises made by President Boris Yeltsin when he took charge. But after more than a decade, these expectations have not been realized."

He goes on to cite numerous polls, which he says prove that the Russian people are the biggest problem in that they don't want freedom. Instead, Pipes states, they want a government that is strong, or "awesome".

It is my belief that the Russian people have never really known true freedom. That is evident by the statement that Russia has been converted to a Democracy. Democracy is not the American Constitutional form of government.

All of that being said, however, we are being told by the CFR's writers that communism is not dead in Russia. And neither is the threat of its possible military buildup. Pipes concludes his article with the following ominous statement.
"In aggregate, the conclusions from surveys of Russian opinion are far from encouraging. Western commentators watch with dismay as Putin slowly and deliberately transforms Russia into a one-party state. But they fail to recognize, even more ominously, that Russians by sizable majorities actually approve of his actions. Putin's victory in the 2004 presidential elections is certainly due in part to his stifling of the opposition. But he is popular precisely because he has re-instated Russia's traditional model of government: an autocratic state in which citizens are relieved of responsibility for politics and in which imaginary foreign enemies are invoked to form an artificial unity. The only desire that Putin has not yet satisfied is restoring Russia's status as a great military power. But if his response to other public demands offers a model, then this wish, too, is likely to be provided in good time."

Is communism dead in Russia?

On July 16, 2001, Russia signed a Friendship and Cooperation Treaty with communist China. The purpose for the agreement, inter alia, is to offset U.S. hegemonism. Russia has engaged in nuclear testing exercises that the media accounts have stated mimic a war with the U.S. as recently as this year. According to U.S. Senator and presidential candidate John Kerry, Russia currently has 20,000 nuclear weapons.

So while we are funding China's military buildup with our purchase of products with the "Made in China" sticker on them, China and Russia are working together to build the Russian economy through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and ultimately Vladimir Putin intends to use the additional revenue to re-establish Russia as a great military power.

Meanwhile, Americans are unaware that communism is alive and well in their own country. Having been put to sleep to the threat of Communism at the end of the so-called "Cold War", Americans do not even realize that their own government had already adopted, through policy, all ten planks of the Communist Manifesto.

Furthermore, many of the "Current Communist Goals" that were entered into the Congressional record in 1963 have been achieved.

We have both the Communist Party U.S.A., and the Revolutionary Communist Party U.S.A. weaving their poison into the American psyche. We have the Democratic Socialists of America of which many of our Congressmen and women are members.

Johann W. von Goethe said, "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."

The threat of Communism is not dead in America.

But the fact that most Americans believe it is, is a lie that is an unforgivable part of the Reagan legacy.

'Camo cops' patrol Pennsylvania Highways
The Associated Press is reporting that state police in Pittsburgh have begun dressing in camouflage while on patrol to nab speeders.

Citing public outrage that the police department wasn't doing enough to nail speeders after a 44 car pile-up on I-80 killed six people in January, Sgt. David Holmes began to dispatch his department of ticket writing "camo cops" to the freeway.

The AP reports that "the tactic is catching on in other counties".

Back in February, I expressed my concern that the militarization of a local police department in Michigan was taking place with the utilization of federal grant money to create the Special Tactics and Rescue Team (START). This team is a military-like special ops division of the Lansing Police Department.

Now we are discovering a trend in Pennsylvania for police to wear camouflage while out on patrol to ticket speeders.

The Posse Comitatus Act (18 USC 1385) prohibits the military from operating within a domestic law enforcement role.

Nevertheless, it seems the lines are slowly being blurred between military and domestic law enforcement officers. And the public is being conditioned to accept police in military garb.

Is this merely an innovative way of increasing revenue at the local PD?

Or are we being conditioned for the coming police state?

In memory
Another Memorial Day has come and gone.

Many battles have been fought, throughout the years, with the soil drinking the blood of humans on both sides of every battle. Each devoted to the cause; each given to the defense of values they believe are worthy of that defense.

Wars always begin with the appeal of the citizenry's sense of patriotism — a blinding devotion to the notion that the cause is just. The belief that it is a cause for which one's life could be worthily dispensed.

It represents a blind faith in those who govern, that they're honorable men who care only for "American principles and interests". Sadly, the leaders of the U.S. today, believe that it is in keeping with "American principles and interests" to expand the role of the U.S. military to invade, overthrow, and occupy several sovereign countries around the world — all in the name of "Democracy", a word that is foreign to the true form of American Constitutional government.

One such victim of patriotic manipulation was Steve Kiba.

Kiba served as the radio operator on an unarmed B-29 during the Korean War. He was shot down in the dead of winter and captured by the communist Chinese.

Accused of violating Chinese airspace, working with the CIA, and engaging in "germ warfare", he was subject to countless hours and endless days interrogation, re-education, confinement, starvation, sleep deprivation, and various other forms of torture.

Following a mock "trial", he was found guilty by the Chinese government of war crimes and sentenced to four years imprisonment, but was finally released after the war ended.

He reminisces of his bewilderment, anger, and sense of betrayal upon learning that he and his fellow comrades had been essentially abandoned by the government for which he so bravely fought.
"Upon capture all prisoners-of-war are told that for them the war is over; but, in reality, their war is just beginning, and it never really ends. In most cases, it is you standing alone, face to face, against the entire enemy nation against whom you were fighting. You no longer have the support of the strongest and greatest military machine on earth.

"We Americans boast that 'we never leave one of our own behind', so you just know and have confidence that your beloved government and your people will do everything humanly possible to extricate you from your terrible predicament. The thought of being left behind never enters your mind because you are sure that you have the prayers and moral support of your loved ones back home. Your faith in God and your trust in and love of your country instill in you the will to resist and continue to fight on; but, even so, there are times when you wonder if anyone knows that you are alive and if anyone even cares.

"After experiencing the horrors of internment in some filthy foreign hellhole and then learning that your own government betrayed, abandoned, and left fellow prisoners behind, you question if they really cared whether or not you were ever released. You become so angry that you determine to do whatever you can to inform the public about this dishonorable betrayal, and you pray that fellow Americans will join you in your efforts to secure the release of these unfortunate forgotten souls from their seemingly endless existence of pain and agony so that they might soon return to their beloved America."

I wonder, when they finally return to their "beloved America", will they recognize her?

To all of the Steve Kibas yet living imprisoned in Korea, Vietnam, and elsewhere, my heart goes out to you. And though you may never read these words, it is my prayer that you will return home safe. I assure you that you are not forgotten by all.

And for those who have died at the hands of the captors, may we all learn from your plight. May we always remember that it is the rich man's war and the poor man's battle. That the true fight for freedom begins in times of peace, not in war. May we remember that it starts in the livingroom, not in the trenches.

The weapons of our warfare are the pen and the script. The letter to the editor or the senator. Our ammunition is the documented truth. We need not camouflage, for nothing must be hidden.

Our resolve must be steadfast. We cannot compromise. We must be committed enough to die — but only when we know for what we are truly fighting.
