Secret government experiments off the coast of New Zealand around 1944 and 1945 were to perfect a bomb that would create a huge tidal wave.
The top-secret U.S. government effort, known as Project Seal, was designed to create a tsunami so devastating that it would play "a role as effective as the atomic bomb".
A series of underwater explosions, triggering mini-tidal waves was set off by Auckland University professor Thomas Leech.
It can now be revealed that declassified documents exist which show that United States and British forces were eager for the tsunami bomb to be developed in the post war years too.
The experiments have special significance in the aftermath of what is being called the worst "natural disaster" in history.
Already being blamed on man-made climate change, the Asian tsunami which has claimed the lives of at least 124,000 people could serve as additional fuel for placing pressure on "developed" countries such as the United States to adopt unnecessary, and economically decimating environmental restrictions such as the Kyoto Protocol.

The deception continues. Either by willful deceivers, or by ignorant ones, who pass on half-truths and lies by omission.
In a report to which I will not bother linking, a certain individual who will remain nameless writes that legislation that was passed on December 9th "requires the States to surrender their regulatory rights over driver's licenses and birth certificates to The Department of Homeland Security". The author of the report goes on to cite many hideous aspects of the legislation, which include, inter alia, biometric identifiers on a "mandatory" national ID card.
The individual penning the article either willfully or ignorantly fails to mention the fact that federal legislation cannot "require" the States to do anything! The States are Constitutionally sovereign, and have the ability, at any time, to stand up and simply say "no".
Instead, this doom and gloomer simply concludes that America is finished. "Today, December 9, 2004 will be one of those moments in time that future historians will look back on and pin point as being the day that the United States of American [sic], and [sic] as it was founded by its forefathers, ceased to exist."
If this person is sincere in their concern over America, he couldn't be doing any more to help the global Marxists implement their police state agenda. For it is the globalists who love to keep the people in fear and dread.
Fear acts as an agent of paralysis. When an individual is overwhelmed by fear, they will do nothing but sit at home, hoping that the jack boots don't kick in their doors and haul them off to "the camps".
I think of the song that is the U.S. "national anthem". It asks the question of whether the star-spangled banner still waves over the "land of the free and the home of the brave".
My answer to that question is no; we're certainly not free, nor are we brave. We've become a nation of selfish, worthless, cowardly slaves.
Selfish, because we care not enough about future generations, including our own offspring, to invest the time necessary to ensure that they'll grow up in a land that is as free for them, as it was for us.
Worthless, because we fail to recognize the importance of the cause of liberty. Indeed, it is the most important cause of all, yet we squander the opportunities afforded to us by our founding fathers. They are founding fathers who penned the most anti-government document in all of the history of mankind the Constitution of the united States of America. If we fail to defend the honor and meaning of that document, we have failed in the single, most-important responsibility of this God-given life.
Cowards, because we are afraid to speak out ourselves. We are afraid that the jack booted thugs might visit our door first. We are afraid that we might be profiled as a radical. We are frightened that our friends or co-workers might think we're looney. Hence, we mum ourselves to the speaking of the truth, and talk to those around us within the dialectic of the controllers.
The many attacks on our liberties don't have to filter down to the state level. State legislators need to be educated about their powers to stand up against the federal government's varied assaults. They need to know that there are people who will stand behind them when they make the right decisions, and will work for their electoral defeat when they don't.
What are the ramifications for the states not implementing some federal "mandate"? The federal government might cut their funding.
For too long, the United States, Incorporated has gotten away with bullying around the sovereign States united, by telling those States that federal money will be cut, if certain measures are not implemented.
Every single police state tactic that the feds are shoving down our collective throats could be stopped at the state level, if lawmakers would take a courageous stand and do the right thing.
Therein lies the rub.
It takes courage to go against the flow. In many cases, leadership in state houses are bought and paid for by the traitors. Rank and file members are often ignorant of the power they wield, and otherwise lack the courage to challenge the leadership and do the right thing.
If States exercised their proper authority, they could legislatively prohibit any money, including personal income taxes, from going to Washington. Money would be held at the State level, until Washington complied with the States' wishes. In other words, turn the tables on the rascals.
"It can't happen", you say? Preposterous and absurd?
Fine then. Sit on your hands and do nothing while the traitorous vermin in Washington devour the last remnants of what was once your great and free country.
And may your chain-dragging posterity recall your calloused inaction with disdain, as they forever curse you.
Many of the major
goals of the communists, outlined in 1963 in the Naked Communist, were aimed at the tearing down of human morality. As morality is derailed, society naturally becomes unstable.
Instability is necessary to create the moral and social chaos, upon which a new order can be built. The enemies of traditional culture understand that a society that is devoid of morality, is a society that is much easier to manipulate and control.
In this cultural war, it is the family unit that takes the force of the punch. Everywhere, we are seeing efforts at diluting the definition of "family" redefining the parental role as one that could include homosexual spouses and parents. "Domestic partner" benefits are the hot topic of the day.
As always, the media's role in this revolution of ideas is central. Families are largely portrayed in a negative light. Values-centered role models have given way to sleazy celebs and pervert performers. Porn stars are now interviewed on talk shows to discuss their "work".
It isn't difficult to see the success that the cultural Marxists have had in deconstructing society.
People who used to help each other, have no concern about their neighbors. This is often true of family members as well.
Others receive national prominence for
acting like animals at basketball games.
We've become a society of adolescents. I keep waiting for the adults to show up in this world, yet it never seems to happen. The apparent reality is that we have a generation of overgrown, spoiled babies, who don't care a whole lot about the children they've given birth to, and for which they are responsible.
Consider the lack of instruction and teaching that parents give their children today. There are no boundaries. There is no direction. The youngsters of today, with few exceptions, are drifting along, searching for those boundaries. They get into fights, experiment with drugs, and become sexually promiscuous in their quest to find a competent authority figure who will show them a line that cannot be crossed.
At times, that authority figure will be in uniform. And if the youngster is lucky, they won't be gunned down or clubbed on the side of the road with a nightstick.
The brakedown in societal order has long bothered me. It has become unfashionable to properly punish children for braking rules. If parents set rules, they are too often not enforced. Often, when a line is crossed, another is drawn with a more stern warning. Naturally, the warnings never matter if they are not backed up with action.
Imagine my distaste for a story about the Barnard family, headlined, "
Parents go on strike, move to yard". It is the story about two imbecilic parents who, upon failing to garner their children's assistance around the house, decided to turn the entire house over to their children.
"After begging and pleading with their 17-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter to help out around the house", the story goes, "the Barnards decided they were fed up. So they went on strike and moved out to the front yard."
"Begging and pleading"? That is precisely the problem.
Once upon a time, if a child refused to do what the parent said, that child found his/herself with are warmed bottom and a loss of privileges. Now, we have parents camping out in the yard because they don't like what their children are doing. We are living in the day of sissy parents, who don't have the will to make their children mind. These children will grow up without knowing the value of good behavior skills, and responsibility.
When dealing with children, you don't beg and plead. You clearly make your demands known, along with the consequences that the child will suffer if your expectations are not met. When they are not met, you deliver on your promise without compromise, and set the bar higher for the next failure. You don't continually threaten your child. You simply state what will occur if they disobey, and then you follow through on your statement. The key to good parenting is consistency.
My brother-in-law recently confided in me that he used to hear family members criticize me because they thought that I was too strict with my children. He said that he now laughs at those people who were critical, as they are the same ones who delight in having my children visit them, even as they avoid other people's children because theirs have behavioral problems and are uncontrollable.
The point is that good parenting isn't rocket science. No one gave me a course in parenting before I started. And to be sure, I've made my share of mistakes along the way.
But with the right mix of love, common sense, and discipline, the shaping of the will can be accomplished while instilling respect and character in the developing child.
The Barnard family might have limited success roasting marshmallows over their hibachi, while the laundry piles up. But its obvious that these two parental dolts have no clue about leadership.
The signs in their yard read, "Parents on strike! Seeking cooperation and respect."
Respect has to be earned. And you earn respect by example. So to Cat and Harlan Barnard I say, Get off your duff, clean your house, and MAKE your children help you.
In other words, act like adults. Some day, your children will thank you.
