I was shocked and saddened to learn that my former colleague, news anchor and reporter, Suzanne Wangler (a.k.a. Suzanne Page), was found dead at her home, the victim of an apparent suicide.

I just spent about 5 hours shoveling my 700 foot driveway again. If this "global warming" keeps up, I think I'm going to be buried.

What a way to start the new year! We are being blasted by a winter storm that is dumping massive amounts of snow on us. I just went outside and took some photos.

This is how it looked at 1:34AM EST outside my back door.

I got my coat on and walked around the side of the house where the dog kennel is located and was greeting by a furry little snow creature, all covered in snow.

Here's my cup of cocoa I made a couple of nights ago. Pretty nice, yes? There's nothing quite like hot cocoa on a cold, southern Michigan night!

I cannot believe that we've reached the end of another year! Time used to go by so slow when I was younger. Now that I have a family and am entering my middle years, it seems that time is flying out of control!
